The main house has 8 bedrooms, ranging from cool nomadic style loft dorms, twin rooms, double rooms and a Grand Master suite with a walk in Dressing Room and Ensuite Bathroom with roll top bath and a rainforest shower.

All rooms have luxury linen, fluffy towels in the bathrooms with Boschendal Farm organic toiletries for your morning showers or evening baths.

Then there is Deer Cottage, just eleven steps from the main house which has 3 twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a dedicated massage room scattered with scented candles and low lighting.

42 acres is Somerset's stunning new wellness retreat for those seeking real transformation. "We work with the land and its abundance of natural resources and we use biomass and solar power to generate energy for the entire space.  We have used reclaimed materials to both build and outfit the property, mixed with the influence, style and expertise of designer Jo Berryman.

The huge renovated farmhouse is just outside Frome and the sunny reception space is just the start of this wonderful wellness retreat experience. With the French doors leading out to view across the 42 acres of private land and 700 acres of the surrounding ancient forest, it's perfect for strolls in between your sessions to reconnect with nature and enjoy some fresh air.

The Yoga and Breathing sessions take place in the specially dedicated room for healing and transformation.  

This beautiful room has large windows for natural light, wooden floorboards to help you feel naturally grounded, gorgeous cushions and throws so you will be warm and comfortable during all your sessions.

We provide all the yoga mats for the breathing and yoga sessions but some guests like to bring their own mat and blankets which you are welcome to do.

 

The Breathing

Aimee Hartley, co-founder of www.inspirationspace.co.uk will take you on a powerful journey with your breath. You will learn and experience the deep healing benefits of Transformational Breath and practice a variety of conscious breath exercises to use in every day life. This can help you let go of any unhealthy breathing habits, such as breath holding, shallow breathing and over breathing and release both physical and emotional tension from the body. This can dramatically shift the way you feel in your body and bring higher states of awareness to the mind.

The retreat programme is developed in a careful way so you will have all the tools, knowledge and experience to develop your own practice of this deeply healing breath-work.

Aimee studied and qualified as a Transformational Breath Facilitator and Workshop leader with Dr Judith Kravitz, Founder of Transformational Breath Foundation, in Italy and the US.  She currently offers Transformational Breath private and corporate workshops in London.  

The Yoga

Ann Pidcock, www.annieyoga.co.uk will be been teaching you a soft, creative style of Vinyasa Flow in the mornings and a more restorative routine in the late afternoon and sharing some of her favourite Yoga Nidra's in the evenings to ensure you have a good night's sleep.  Her original teacher training was 500 hours BWY with Danny DeVille.  She has since sought out wisdom from many wonderful teachers, adding texture and depth to this foundation.  Her interest in how the body moves is largely influenced by her work in dance, whereas the breathing, asana and esoteric elements stem from her education in Yoga and its rich history of ideas and styles.

Ann trained in restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater and is a certified 'Relax and Renew' teacher. She is a certified  Believing whole heartedly that being able to access this profoundly restful state is deeply important to being healthy human beings. It works in harmony with her more flow based teachings and fits well with embracing all necessary aspects of wellness.
